Sketch Stuff On Tap For The Weekend

For those looking for a chance to see/hear/touch/taste comedy this weekend there are actually a slew of events to choose from.

As previously mentioned both Train of Thought and The Pork Filled Players have shows this weekend. Scroll down a few entries for all the details.

Elsewhere are two exciting shows, first up is local sketch comedy mainstay WINLAR! The head writer for Seattle sketch group Kazoo! and also a former writer for Almost Live does a solo show at the Rendezvous, 2320 Second Ave, 441-5823. $7. Fri, Sat, 8 pm. Through Nov 18.

Then the show that I would kill Josh to see: TIM CONWAY AND HARVEY KORMAN! One night only at The Paramount Theatre, 911 E Pine St, 292-2787. $50. Sat, Nov 18, 8 pm. Growing up I would race home after school every day to catch old episodes of The Carol Burnett Show. These two men are practically the reason I went into comedy. And rumor has it this may be the last chance to see them…ever.
