An unearthly howl in the distant night; a blood curdling scream and the slosh of monstrous limbs through freshly-drawn blood. These are the sounds of … comedy?
Yes, THEM!, Seattle’s horror-themed sketch comedy group returns this weekend with their second show (read our interview with THEM! founder John McKenna here).
This incarnation of Open Circle Theater’s late-night sketch company involves that old comedy goldmine, “the end of the world,” promising such characters as a dimension-jumping scientist, possums, Hercules, animated corpses, Wilford Brimley, Irish gods, a silent film star, a terrorist clown, a robot with a penchant for practical jokes, and more apocalypses than you can shake a stick at. If you’ve gotta go, why not go laughing! 100% Polonium-free comedy..
Hell, if Wilford Brimley doesn’t scare the crap out of you, you’re a braver soul than I.
